About Megan Martzen

Who is Megan Martzen?  Megan is a beautiful young lady on the inside and out and we are blessed and honored to have her in our lives.  Megan is a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, a friend, a wife and a new mommy!  Megan is also someone who's world has been turned upside down by being falsely accused of a crime she did not commit.

Megan has always loved working with children.  As a child herself she was always the “mommy” type, from her dolls to other children in daycare with her.  When she was in Jr. High she heard about the babysitting classes they were offering at the Community Center and begged to sign up, she was so excited about working with children.  Megan would volunteer to help in the nursery at church. Once she was in high school she started babysitting for various families and was always enrolled in tutorial classes where she was able to help in different elementary classrooms, including a class for mentally challenged children.  She enjoyed working with each age group.  Megan also worked as a private tutor.  She volunteered at the church on Wednesday nights to help with the Pre-School program and also volunteered as a cheer coach for Reedley Youth Football.  Her freshman year she was able to go on a Mexico Missions trip with our church and helped with the Vacation Bible School there.  She absolutely loved it!  Not only does she love children but they love her.  I can't count the number of times we would be in the grocery store and I would hear "Miss Megan" and a child would come running up to hug her leg.  I would ask who it was and she could tell me the name and the teacher.

Megan loved spending time with Ella and her brother John.  She and her husband Scott spent time with the kids even after regular baby sitting hours.  They took them to the zoo and had rooms set up in their home for them.  Megan had no motive what so ever to hurt Ella.  Megan adored her.  She has been devastated over her loss.  Please know the actions they are describing are not actions Megan is capable of.  Please help us to continue to support Megan where truth can be known.  Please continue to lift her in prayer!

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
